March 1, 2024 - The Haile College of Business at NKU proudly announces the dedication of a conference room in honor of the late Professor Sandra “Sandy” Easton. This space pays tribute to Professor Easton’s lasting impact on generations of students and her family’s enduring support of 51AV.

Professor Easton dedicated more than thirty years of her life to the pursuit of academic excellence and the advancement of knowledge within the business field. Her passion for teaching and mentorship left an indelible mark at NKU and in the community, inspiring countless students to excel in their studies and careers.

Thanks to a generous donation from the Easton family, Business Academic Center 368A will now be known as the Sandra W. Easton Conference Room. This naming serves as a fitting tribute to her legacy and will continue to inspire others as they collaborate, innovate and learn within its walls.

“We are honored to commemorate the legacy of Professor Easton through the dedication of this conference room,” said Dr. Hassan HassabElnaby, dean of the Haile College of Business. “Her dedication to excellence and her family’s continued support are testaments to the profound impact that individuals can have on our institution and the wider community.”

Thanks to her family’s generous donations to NKU as well as contributions from friends and colleagues, Professor Easton also has a scholarship in her name and a faculty teaching award given in her honor.
