Undergraduate Admission Process

Applying to NKU takes just a few simple steps!

Step 1: Apply

Complete and submit the online Application for Undergraduate Admissions with a $40 non-refundable application fee by the following transfer application deadlines:

  • Fall: August 1
  • Spring: December 1
  • Summer: May 1

Step 2: Request transcripts

Request official transcripts from all institutions attended to be mailed directly to:

You are responsible for contacting all previous colleges attended to request an official transcript sent to NKU.

Step 3: Get accepted

The Office of Admissions should notify you in approximately two weeks of receiving your completed application.

Please contact the Admissions Office with questions regarding the status of your application.

Step 4: Talk with your advisor

Contact your program advisor after your admission to the university to discuss your degree requirements and registration information.

Step 5: Register for classes via MyNKU

Graduate Admission

Step 1: Apply

Complete and submit the Graduate Application for Admission with a $40 non-refundable application fee. 

Submission Deadlines: The submission deadline is specific to the graduate program admission requirements. Deadlines for each graduate program can be found at deadlines.
